East Bengal vs Sreenidi Deccan Highlights: East Bengal beat Sreenidi Deccan FC 2-1 in their Kalinga Super Cup Group B match on Sunday (January 14).
The Final Whistle blows in Bhubaneswar and East Bengal have secured all three points courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Sreenidi Deccan.
Hijazi Maher and Javier Siverio scored two first-half goals for the Kolkata giants as they looked the better of two sides. William Alves scored a late goal from the spot to halve the deficit but in the end East Bengal have hold on to get the maximum points.
With this, the Kolkata Derby is set to be the decider of Group A. The winner between Mohun Bagan or East Bengal will advance to the semifinals of the Kalinga Super Cup. And if that match ends in a stalemate, East Bengal will go through to the semi-finals courtesy of more goals scored.

"We are expecting a tough game against a good team that has an excellent combination of good foreigners and talented Indians. They are a top I-League side and made things very difficult for Mohun Bagan SG in their first match," Carles Cuadrat said on Saturday.
"Let's see if we can play the kind of match that we want to and get our second consecutive victory in this Kalinga Super Cup," he further added.
