EPL 2012-13: Arsenal vs Tottenham Preview

London, Nov 17: Two teams trying to find their best combination and rhythm this season, Arsenal host Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger hopes his side can emerge winners in the crunch North London derby which can also kick start their season after many ups and downs.

Spurs, meanwhile, are one point above Arsenal in the league standings. Andre Villas-Boas' men will test Gunners' vulnerable back-line and hope to stay above their rivals.

Over the years, the gap between these two rivals has been more than just one point, but this time out both teams will look to seal victory in order to secure a place in Europe.

Arsenal have won two home games this season while Spurs ended a hat-trick of away wins after defeat to Manchester City last time out.

Jack Wilshere returns for the Gunners after a one-match ban for a red card against Manchester United. Wenger could also see the return of key players like Gervinho, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain, Tomas Rosicky and Wojciech Szczesny.

Spurs, on the other hand, will miss midfielder Moussa Dembele who is yet to recover from a hip injury.

The visitors could see Kyle Walker and Jermain Defoe return to the side after injury scare.

*This is Arsenal's worst start to a season in 30 years since 1982-83.

*Tottenham have lost only one of their last five north London derbies with Arsenal.

*A total of 29 goals have been scored in the last six Premier League meetings between the two sides.

Tottenham (4-4-2): Friedel-Walker, Gallas, Caulker, Vertonghen-Lennon, Huddlestone, Sandro, Bale-Dempsey-Adebayor.
