EPL 2012-13: Everton vs Arsenal Preview

Liverpool, Nov 28: Everton have registered only one victory in their last six league games and now host an inconsistent Arsenal side who drew their previous match against Aston Villa.

Gunners record at Goodison Park suggests a win for the visitors but recent ups and downs indicate that it is much harder to close the gap. Separated by a point, expect both teams to battle hard for three points.

Arsenal have recorded their highest number of Premier League wins and goals against Everton. Arsene Wenger will look to improve that record though his side have recorded their lowest points tally after 12 games under the Frenchman.

David Moyes' side have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last eight games but despite these defensive drawbacks, the Toffees have the record of scoring 15 first-half goals in the league, more than any other side in the league.

Toffees leading goal-scorer Marouane Fellaini returns after a one-match ban. Darren Gibson and Kevin Mirallas are expected to return but are set for the bench.

Arsenal will have forward Theo Walcott back from a shoulder injury while Tomas Rosicky returned to training but is expected to miss out the clash at Goodison.

Trivia:

*This is the 183rd league match between the two sides.

*Arsenal are unbeaten in their 10 Premier League games against Everton.
