London, Aug 25: The second match-week of Barclays Premier League 2012-13 Kicks-off this Saturday. After a thrilling start to the new campaign last week, another exciting and thrilling game week begins.

Here is a look at Match Previews for Saturday's clashes:

Swansea City vs West Ham United - Liberty Stadium

After a comprehensive 5-0 victory in their opening match, Swansea City look to continue their fine form when they invite West Ham United to the Liberty Stadium on Saturday.

Both teams come into this game after victories in their opening match. Sam Allardyce's Hammers managed a narrow 1-0 win over Aston Villa. Winger Matt Jarvis, who joined the Londoners on Friday in a record-breaking transfer fee, is set to feature against the Swans. However, West Ham may retain the same line-up with Alou Diarra and Modibo Maiga pushing for a start.

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup hopes defender Chico Flores returns to action while Manchester City target winger Scott Sinclair could start despite not signing a new contract.

Trivia: Both sides have met 51 times in all competitions, Swansea won 16, West Ham won 23 and 12 draws were recorded.

West Ham United (4-3-3): Jaaskelainen-Demel, Reid, Collins, O'Brien-Nolan, Diame, Noble-Jarvis, Cole, Vaz Te.

Aston Villa vs Everton - Villa Park

Everton travel to Villa Park after beating Manchester United at home in their opening fixture of the new campaign while Aston Villa will bank on home support to get back to winning ways.

Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor, defender Richard Dunne and winger Marc Albrighton are all sidelined while young forward Andreas Weimann hopes to start ahead of Brett Holman. But manager Paul Lambert will welcome the return of striker Nathan Delfouneso and Chris Herd.

David Moyes' Toffees are likely to start with the same line-up which United while new signing Kevin Mirallas and striker Victor Anichebe are expected to start on the bench.

Trivia: Six of the last seven Premier League games between Aston Villa and Everton have ended in a draw.


Aston Villa (4-4-2): Given-Lichaj, Clark, Vlaar, Baker-Ireland, El Ahmadi, Delph, N'Zogbia-Bent, Delfouneso.

Everton (4-4-2): Howard-Hibbert, Distin, Jagielka, Baines-Neville, Pienaar, Osman, Naismith, Fellaini, Jelavic.

Norwich City vs Queens Park Rangers - Carrow Road

Both teams will be hoping to forget their opening match-day nightmare after conceding five goals. Norwich City and QPR hope to tighten at the back when they clash each other at Carrow Road.

Canaries manager Chris Hughton will reshuffle his back-line with starts for defender Sebastien Bassong and left-back Javier Garrido after losing 5-0 against Fulham. Winger Elliott Bennett is sidelined with a knee injury while David Fox, Elliott Ward and Steven Whittaker will not feature in Saturday's fixture due to injuries.

QPR manager Mark Hughes' new signing right-back Jose Bosingwa could make his debut while Anton Ferdinand and Clint Hill are likely to retain their places. Alejandro Faurlin and Kieron Dyer will miss the game due to injuries. Meanwhile, Bosingwa lacks training which would prompt Hughes to retain Nedam Onuoha.

Trivia: Both Norwich and QPR lost 5-0 in their opening fixture of the new campaign against Fulham and Swansea, respectively.


Norwich City (4-4-1-1): Ruddy-Bassong, Turner, Martin, Garrido-Surman, Johnson, Howson, Pilkington-Snodgrass-Holt.

QPR (4-4-2): Green-Fabio, Nelsen, Ferdinand, Onuoha-Diakite, Mackie, Derry, Park-Cisse, Hoilett.

Southampton vs Wigan Athletic - St. Mary's Stadium

Two teams aiming to kick start the season on a winning note, Southampton take on Wigan Athletic at the St. Mary's Stadium on Saturday.

In their opening day fixture, the Saints lost to champions Manchester City while the European champions beat Wigan at home.

Wigan's most outstanding player Victor Moses could be on his way to Chelsea after the Latics confirmed they have accepted a bid from the Blues. Apart from that manager Roberto Martinez is unlikely to make any changes from last week's defeat to Chelsea.

Southampton will take some positives from the game against City as star striker Ricky Lambert is set to start along with Rodriguez upfront.

Trivia: Rickie Lambert scored 27 goals in 39 appearances in the Championship last season.

Wigan Athletic (3-4-2): Al-Habsi-Alcaraz, Caldwell, Ramis-Boyce, McCarthy, McArthur, Figueroa-Maloney, Di Santo-Kone.

Sunderland vs Reading - Stadium of Light

The Black Cats have confirmed the signing of Wolves striker Steven Fletcher. The 25-year-old striker may start for Martin O'Niell's side as they look to seal three points against Reading FC.

O'Niell's quest to sign several attackers may delay while key players like James Vaughan and Wes Brown have returned to full-match fitness ahead of Saturday's clash.

In their third match of the week, Royals manager Brian Mc Dermott may be forced to make a few changes as look to seal three points this time around after losing to Chelsea in the mid-week fixture.

Striker Jason Roberts looks set to make a comeback while Pavel Pogrebnyak is sure to start for the Royals. Nicky Shorey, Adrian Mariappa and Adam Le Fondre are in line to start.

Trivia: Sunderland have failed to win in their last nine Premier League ties. Reading scored the highest number of goals in the Championship last season.
