London, Sept 5: The Premier League governing body has confirmed 19 out of 20 clubs have submitted their 25-man squad for the Barclays Premier League season 2012-13.

Stoke City are yet to confirm their squad as they await Premier League Board approval for the signing of free agent Michael Owen.

"The Premier League Board is currently considering an application from Stoke City to register a player and, subsequently, their squad list will be confirmed at a later date," a statement on the Premier League's official site read.

A minimum of eight home grown players should be in the 25-man squad, regardless of age or nationality, who have spent three years in the youth system of a club in England or Wales before the age of 21.

With eight home grown players, only 17 foreign players are permitted. U-21 players do not come under this category. Hence, clubs can have an unlimited number of U-21 players.
