EPL 2012-13: Premier League Game Week 18 Preview

London, Dec 21: From relegation battles to top-four places, this Game Week proves crucial to teams ahead of the busy Christmas schedule. Newcastle hope to get back to winning ways, Tottenham want to keep fourth spot, struggling West Brom face high-flying Norwich, all previews from the Barclays Premier League.

Wigan Athletic vs Arsenal - DW Stadium

The Latics hope to end their dreadful run and jump out of the relegation zone but face an upbeat Arsenal side who thrashed Reading last time out away from home.

Wigan's last five matches reads W1 D1 L3 taking on Gunners who have won back-back to league games.

Arsenal would jump back to Champions League spots if they manage to clinch all three points.

Newcastle United vs Queens Park Rangers - St James Park

Newcastle are just two points away from the drop zone and face relegation strugglers Queens Park Rangers.

Rangers won their first match in 16 league wins against Fulham and will look to continue that run against the Magpies.

Alan Pardew's men have now lost six out of seven games and are currently 15th in the league table.

Southampton vs Sunderland - St Mary's stadium

Southampton look to overtake Sunderland when the two teams clash at the St Mary's stadium on Saturday.

Separated by a point at the bottom of the table, two teams clash to avoid the drop. The Saints also have a game in hand ahead of busy Christmas schedule.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Stoke City - White Hart Lane

Spurs hope to maintain their top-four position when they host the best defensive team in the Premier League Stoke City at White Hart Lane.

Spurs are on a run of four wins in five games while the Potters are unbeaten in five league matches.

West Brom Albion vs Norwich City - The Hawthorns

The Baggies failed to maintain their impressive start to the season which took them to fourth spot but a recent run of defeats has seen them drop to seventh place.

Norwich, on the other hand, have jumped to eighth spot with three back-to-back wins. Chris Hughton's side have now gone unbeaten in 10 league games.

With a win, both teams have a chance to move closer to top-four places.

West Ham United vs Everton - Upton Park

Both teams are struggling to get back to winning ways but with the Hammers at home, Everton have slim chances of getting a good result at Upton Park.

But the Toffees have lost only twice this season, second best behind reigning champions Manchester City while West Ham have won one game in five games.
