EPL 2012-13: Premier League Game Week 25 Preview

London, Feb 2: QPR eye three points against lowly Norwich, Everton aim for fourth spot while Aston Villa continue to struggle in the relegation zone, Newcastle face tricky Chelsea test at home, Wigan hope to jump out of the relegation zone, all the match previews from the Barclays Premier League on Game Week 25.

Queens Park Rangers vs Norwich City - Loftus Road

QPR manager Harry Redknapp will be hoping his January transfers can keep his club on top with a chance to clinch three points against the struggling Norwich City.

QPR have the worst scoring record at home and have picked up only 12 points from 11 league games. Norwich have been going through a downfall recently. The have now won in nearly two months and in their last 12 away games, they have picked up eight points.

Everton vs Aston Villa - Goodison Park

Everton have a great chance to reach the top-four considering Aston Villa's recent form.

The Villans have conceded 46 goals this season, the highest by any side in the league. Paul Lambert's side last won in mid-December and have collected only two points in January.

Everton haven't beaten Villa at home recently, six of the last eight games have been drawn.

Newcastle United vs Chelsea - St James Park

Newcastle's French legion worked for Alan Pardew during their 2-1 victory over Aston Villa. That win was their third in 19 league games since October.

Chelsea, on the other hand, gave away a two-goal lead in the dying minutes against Reading, which shows their inconsistency in the league.

However, the Blues are unbeaten in their last five visits to St James' Park, winning three and conceding only a single goal.

Reading vs Sunderland - Madejski Stadium

Reading's late 2-2 draw against Chelsea got them out of the relegation zone and will look to grab all three points against Sunderland.

Adam Le Fondre's record for the Royals is spectacular scoring seven goal in 2013, with five of his goals coming as substitute.

The Black Cats have been boosted by their new signing Danny Graham from Swansea City. Sunderland have kept five clean sheets in thier last nine games.

West Ham United vs Swansea City - Upton Park

Two teams with completely different playing style lock horns at Upton Park. After a promising start early on in the season, the Hammers have registered only one win in thier last nine league matches.

Swansea have been unbeaten in their seve games, with two wins and five draws. Michael Laudrup's side are currently eighth in the league and kept five clean sheets away from home this season.

Wigan Athletic vs Southampton - DW Stadium

Southampton visit Wigan for the first time in their history and the two teams battle it out to survive in the Premier League.

The bottom five is where the two teams expected to be at this stage of the season. But Wigan desperately need a win after a run of one win in 11 games.

The Saints ended their unbeaten run with midweek's defeat to Manchester United. But Wigan need to worry more as they struggle on 18th position while Southampton could go six points clear of the relegation zone.

West Brom Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur - The Hawthorns

Both teams are going through a winless run in the Premier League but West Brom desperately need a win to stay in the top half of the table. The Baggies have not won in their last five matches, losing four of them while Spurs have drawn all of their previous three games. Andre Villas-Boas has a striker shortage after Jermain Defoe's injury and the absence of Emmanuel Adebayor due to his participation in the African Cup of Nations.
