EPL 2012-13: Premier League results report - Game Week 29

London, Mar 10: Harry Redknapp has history behind him when it comes to helping clubs survive the drop and he requires a miracle with QPR and a comeback 3-1 victory over Sunderland gave them a chance to stay up in the Premier League.

Goals from Loic Remy, Andros Townsend and Jermaine Jenas took Rangers to their fourth win this season. Steven Fletcher opened the scoring in the 20th minute for the Black Cats.

Aston Villa claimed three crucial points with a 2-1 win over Reading at the Madejski Stadium. The Royals are 19th in the league, above QPr by virtue of goal difference. Villa came from behind thanks to Cristian Benteke and Gabriel Agbonlahor after defender Nathan Baker put the ball into his own net.

Southampton remain just four points clear of the drop zone after a 0-0 draw away to Norwich at Carrow Road. The Saints created many clear chances in the first half but failed to convert while Norwich were handed a penalty during injury-time but keeper Artur Boruc produced a save from Grant Holt.

West Brom Albion continued their quest to claim European football with a 2-1 victory over Swansea City at the Hawthorns. Steve Clarke's men moved above Liverpool in seventh place.

Swansea striker Luke Moore opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with a clear header but their lead lasted only before half-time with Romelu Lukaku equalising. The Belgian had a penalty saved in the second-half but Baggies claimed the winner through Jonathan De Guzman's own goal.
