EPL 2012-13: Unbeaten teams this Premier League season

London, Sept 27: Sunderland were not expected to remain unbeaten this season but they somehow managed to hold their ground in four Premier League games, but the major worry for Martin O'Niel's side is they are yet to win a game.

Placed 12th in the league table, the Black Cats' four goals have been scored by £12 million signing Steven Fletcher. The 25-year-old Scot made an immediate impact scoring four in just three starts.

Apart from their opening game away at Arsenal, Sunderland have conceded a goal in every game after scoring first. The Black Cats have drawn all four games so far.

Reigning champions Manchester City remain unbeaten but are not at their best this season, drawing three matches in five. Placed way below at seventh place for their standards, Roberto Mancini will be feeling the heat as title contenders Chelsea and Manchester United sit at 1st and 2nd place, respectively.

City's high profile stars have failed to live up to the champions tag, dropping points against Arsenal recently and have comeback on three occasions to avoid a loss.

The Citizens also suffered a narrow loss against La Liga champions Real Madrid in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League. City gave away the lead twice at the Bernabeu which means they have to solve defensive errors.

After failing to score in their first two games, Arsenal finally opened their account against Liverpool at Anfield. The Gunners remain unbeaten in seven games in all competitions while they have conceded only two goals in the Premier League so far, similar to league leaders Chelsea.

New signings Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski have been Arsenal's most impressive players while the return of midfielder Abou Diaby has strengthened their squad. Gervinho, who had not since 2012, already has two goals in four starts.

If they perform consistently, Arsenal have a serious chance to challenge for the title this season, or atleast end their trophy drought.

Chelsea remains on top of the table with 13 points in five games. Roberto di Matteo's men have drawn just once against Queens Park Rangers this season but have dominated the rest of the games.

European champions face another unbeaten side and London rivals Chelsea this Saturday. Di Matteo will be pleased with the way his team has performed so far, conceding two goals and scoring nine so far.
