EPL: Can Everton hold on to Fellaini?
London, Feb 27: Everton face the challenge to keep their prized asset Marouane Fellaini this summer as Real Madrid, Chelsea and the Manchester giants have expressed their desire to sign the Belgium international.

Fellaini, 25, is keen to play in the Champions League but will not force a move away from Goodison Park as Everton try to push themselves to secure a place in Europe elite club competition.

Manager David Moyes is aware that some of Europe's top clubs will come knocking in the summer and will only sell if the buyers meet the players valuation. Moyes paid £20million for Fellaini from Standard Leige in 2008 and has scored 31 goals since then.

Meanwhile, Everton want to keep Fellaini and have denied rumours of a £20million buy-out clause. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City were keen to sign the player during January. Everton try and sell one player each year to help solve their financial difficulties. Last time out, Jack Rodwell was sold to City and Fellaini is likely to be the player heading out of Goodison Park.

However, Leighton Baines has also been a target for top clubs in England. Chelsea are ready to consider a bid for Baines in the summer, despite offering Ashley Cole a 12-month deal. The 27-year old England left-back has been a long term target for Manchester United.

Fellaini recently hinted a move to Chelsea as both Manchester clubs have cooled off talks of signing him. The Belgian earns nearly £75,000-a-week with the Toffees which means any top club could easily double that offer to persuade him.
