Manchester Dec 29: Manchester United will eye to extend their seven-point lead at the top of the table when they host West Brom Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.

United return to action at the Theatre of Dreams after a thrilling 4-3 finish against Newcastle United last time out. Sir Alex Ferguson's men now have four wins from five games and have scored 15 goals in these fixtures.

West Brom, on the other hand, ended their worst run this season with back-to-back wins over Norwich City and Queens Park Rangers.

Ferguson will be concerned of his defence after going down twice against Newcastle while the Baggies will try and cause troubles for home sides fragile back line.

United will miss striker Wayne Rooney for upto three weeks but playmaker Shinji Kagawa could start against West Brom.

Meanwhile, midfielder Yousuff Mulumbu, defender Jonas Olsson and Goran Popov are doubtful for Steve Clarke's side.
