Radamel Falcao - Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea were favourites to land the Colombia international, 26, as a replacement for £50m flop star Fernando Torres. However, the Blues are reluctant to shell out £46million for the former Porto star. Meanwhile, Manchester City are planning a move for Falcao, who has scored 16 goals in 15 La Liga games, but face heavy competition for Atletico rivals Real Madrid.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar - Schalke
Arsenal and Liverpool are ready to bring in Dutch star Huntelaar during January after the 29-year old rejected to sign a new contract with the Germany giants. Arsene Wenger hopes the Dutch striker can replace fellow countryman Robin van Persie. Arsene Wenger will be hoping to sign huntelaar on a cut-price £6million in January. Wenger will look at other options across Spain with Adrian Lopez and Fernando Llorente ready to make a move to the Premier League.
Wesley Sneijder - Inter Milan
Manchester United were the first to enquire about the Sutch midfield maestro but hitback after the players wage demands. Sneijder, 28, is currently earning a whopping £1,80,000-a-week with Inter and wants nearly £2,50,000 from clubs interested to sign him. Tottenham are interested to sign the contract rebel from Inter Milan as a replacement for Luka Modric but will have a problem dealing with Sneijder's wage demands. Meanwhile, Manchester City could be close to signing the 28-year old after Untied bowed out.
Stevan Jovetic - Fiorentina
Jovetic, 23, is one if the finest strikers in Serie A and his club are asking a whopping £25 million for his services. The Montenegro international, 22, is being targetted only by English Champions Manchetser City but failed to submit a bid during the summer. But Juventus have also shown some interest in Jovetic.
Isco - Malaga
Manchester City and Arsenal are favourites to bid for the 20-year old playmaker from Malaga. The young sensation helped his side qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League and is valued at around £17 million. City boss Roberto Mancini admires the Spaniard and is ready to spend in January but face competition from Arsenal who signed his teammate Santi Cazorla during the summer.
