• Manchester United hope to complete the signing of Wilfried Zaha on Thursday after agreeing a £15 million deal with Crystal Palace. Zaha, 20, is expected to complete the deal within 24 hours subject to a medical. United will send Zaha back on loan to Palace as they seek to gain promotion to the Premier League.

• Meanwhile, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was at Celtic to watch long-term target Victor Wanyama. The Scot is planning a £10 million swoop for the Kenyan midfielder.

• United are ready to listen to offers for under-fire goalkeeper David de Gea. The Spaniard's mistake cost United two vital points as Tottenham equalised during injury-time. The 22-year-old keeper has not settled well in England and could return to Spain with Barcelona eyeing a summer move.

• Liverpool are set to hold showdown talks with keeper Pepe Reina as the Spaniard has been linked with Barcelona. Manchester United are also keen on Reina, 30, but have not made any offer.

• Southampton will try and hijack another Liverpool target Philippe Coutinho from Inter Milan. The Serie A side asked Liverpool to increase their £8m offer for the Brazilian but the Saints are plotting a £10 million bid. Southampton recently signed Vegard Forren from Molde for £4 million.

• Liverpool and Arsenal will battle it out for £8m-rated Swansea City defender Ashley Williams.

• Newcastle United have completed the signing of French player Yoan Gouffran from Bordeaux. The Magpies have signed their second player from Ligue 1 in the space of 24 hours. Gouffran, 26, signed a four-and-a-half year deal at St James Park.

• Yann M'Vila has disappointed QPR and Tottenaham after signing for Russian giants Rubin Kazan. M'Vila, 22, was expected to join the Premier League but the lure of £3m-a-year in wages plus £9.6m for Rennes was hard to deny.

• Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp is interested Blackburn's defensive duo Martin Olsson and Scott Dann.

• Michu has signed a new four-year contract at Swansea City. The Swans' top scorer has made all the headlines since his £2 million bargain move from Real Vallecano.

• Birmingham are ready to reduce Jack Butland's asking price as they need to money to clear debts. The England goalkeeper has been a target for Liverpool, Everton and Arsenal.

• Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is considering a move for Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic. Manchester City were interested in the 22-year-old but have pulled off the deal while Fiorentina have rejected bids from Juventus. Jovetic has £20 million release clause in his contract and Arsenal are ready to meet that price.

• Everton defender Sylvain Distin has signed a one-year contract extension to keep him at Goodison Park until summer 2014.
