EPL Transfers: Manchester City ready to sell Samir Nasri

Manchester, Feb 28: Manchester City are willing to listen to offers for playmaker Samir Nasri during the summer.

The Premier League champions are ready to incur losses of aroud £5m to £8m and are ready to cash in next season if their valuation is met. City are planning to offload a number of players to cut down their wage bill and raise funds for new players.

Nasri, 25, joined City from Arsenal for a fee of £25million in 2011 but is currently unsettled at the Etihad following criticism from manager Roberto Mancini.

Clubs interested in singing the former Gunner must bid nearly £20million during the next transfer window. But only cash-rich clubs can finance such a deal to meet City's demands and also match Nasri's £160,000-a-week salary.

French Ligue 2 side Monaco, backed by Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev, are keen to lure Nasri and team-mate Carlos Tevez in the summer.

Tevez, 28, is yet to sign a contract extension with City while striker Edin Dzeko could be on his way to Germany.

Aleksander Kolarov, Maicon, Joleon Lescott and Scott Sinclair are some of the players who could be leaving the club in the summer.
