The rumors regarding Manchester City star Erling Haaland's potential move to Real Madrid have been squashed by manager Pep Guardiola.
Amid the ongoing speculation surrounding Kylian Mbappe's potential move to Real Madrid, fresh reports have surfaced suggesting that Manchester City's prolific forward, Erling Haaland, is also contemplating a switch to the Spanish capital.

The belief is that Haaland is pushing for a move to enhance his chances of receiving greater recognition in prestigious awards such as the Ballon d'Or and Best FIFA awards.
Haaland, who made the move to Manchester City in the summer of 2022, has been nothing short of exceptional. His impact was instrumental in guiding Pep Guardiola's side to a historic treble last season, and he finished as the runner-up in the Ballon d'Or race, narrowly trailing behind Lionel Messi.
Despite these achievements on the pitch, recent rumors have hinted at Haaland's potential discontent with life in Manchester, raising the possibility of an exit in the future.
It's also reported that a release clause in the region of €150 million for clubs outside of England is set to become active in his contract from the upcoming summer, a figure that could entice Real Madrid to make a move.
However, City boss Pep Guardiola has firmly dismissed these speculations, stating that there is currently no reason to believe that Erling Haaland is unhappy at Manchester City.
“I don't know, you have to ask the media from Madrid. Maybe they have more info than we have,” Guardiola said.
”We don't have the feeling that he's unhappy. He was because he could not play for two months injured."
The Norwegian forward recently made a return from a foot injury during City's 3-1 victory over Burnley in the English Premier League, coming on as a substitute after an absence of almost two months.
Haaland is now poised to start against Brentford. In the current season, he has netted an impressive 19 goals in 21 appearances.
