Ethan Nwaneri has committed his future to Arsenal by signing a new contract, marking a significant milestone after an incredible year with the club. Having already spent ten years with Arsenal, the 18-year-old forward is eager to continue his development in an environment where he feels secure and at home.

Last season was a breakout campaign for Ethan, during which he made 37 appearances and scored nine goals. With this fresh deal in place, he is now focused on building on that success and solidifying his place in the first team.

Reflecting on his contract, Ethan shared, "It means everything to me, I'm so happy to have got it done. This is where I feel at home, and where I'm going to develop the best. I'm ready.

"I'm very excited. I see this as my first real season, and part of a proper squad in the changing room. I'm so excited for what I can bring to the team and how I can help the team. I'm a very versatile player, so I think I'm going to play anywhere across the front five, and I'm ready to do what the manager needs," he added while speaking to the official website.

Ethan's rise to prominence began early, as he made history as the youngest-ever Premier League player at just 15 years and 181 days old back in September 2022. Yet it was last season when he firmly established himself, not only by scoring his first two goals for Arsenal against Bolton Wanderers but also by netting stunning strikes against Girona and Manchester City. Finishing the campaign as the club's joint-fifth highest scorer was a huge accomplishment for him, one he takes great pride in and hopes to surpass as he gains more experience in top-flight football.

"I've had to adapt to the demands of the Premier League, so I think I've changed physically, but also mentally as well in terms of dealing with setbacks and injuries," Ethan reflected.

With Ethan and his close friend Myles Lewis-Skelly now integral parts of Mikel Arteta's squad plans, there is a fresh surge of optimism around Hale End, Arsenal's famed youth academy, as this new generation seeks to follow in their footsteps and contribute to the club's future success.
