Arsenal are extremely close to wrap up the new contract offer for Ethan Nwaneri, as per reports. The Gunners opened their negotiation after the player joined pre-season training and the deal is in the final stages.
MyKhel understands there were offers for Nwaneri not just in the Premier League but across Europe. Top clubs in Spain and Germany were interested in Nwaneri but the player has always been adamant to stay at North London.

As per the latest updates, Nwaneri is set to pen a long contract renewal at the club, which is set to provide a huge salary hike as well.
The contract is set to run for five years, extending through to 2030, though it may officially be until 2029 with an option for a further year. An agreement has already been reached between Arsenal and Nwaneri's representatives.
Nwaneri seeks guarantees for regular first-team playing time before signing, which is likely not to be an issue. The England youth player made his Premier League debut in 2022, thus becoming the youngest player to play in the top-flight English football. In the 2024-25 season, the 18-year-old played 37 times across all formats, where he scored 9 goals and had 2 assists.
Nwaneri has been a versatile player across the wings and as a traditional no. 10, and he is likely to hone the latter role. As per the development trajectory, Mikel Arteta will use him more as a competitor for Martin Odegaard in the coming years through the middle of the attacking four.
