The UEFA Euro 2024 has started and so far the fans have witnessed some enthralling football action in the tournament.

The traditional big boys have started in their dominating fashion and are looking on course to go deep into the tournament.

Hosts Germany has already qualified for the Round of 16 with two dominating victories. They won 5-1 to start the tournament against Scotland and then won 2-0 against Hungary to book their berth.

On the other hand, Spain, England, Portugal and the Netherlands have also started with decent victories. France, one of the favourites in the tournament have also made a winning start.

Euro 2024, being a 24-team tournament, requires a tweak in their format for the knockout stages. In the Round of 16, apart from the two best teams in each groups, 4 3rd-placed teams also qualify.
