The 32-year-old Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen suffered a cardiac arrest during the Euro 2020 match against Finland on June 12. He was fitted with a pacemaker device and resumed his career thereafter.

He played 28 games for the Red Devils this season throughout all competitions. Now, he's made a brilliant comeback as the coach named him in the 26-man squad. His experience and skill will be crucial in Denmark's midfield to make a significant impact in the tournament.
Rasmus Hojlund
Eriksen’s Man United teammate Rasmus Hojlund is another player who could prove to be key for Denmark's campaign. He has been in top form for the Red Devils this season with 16 goals throughout all competitions where 5 of them came in their Champions League games.
