Spain and Real Betis winger Isco is ruled out of the Euro 2024 with an injury. The Spaniard has broken his left leg Fibula and that means he won't play any part for Spain in the upcoming competition.
The 32-year-old has been one of LaLiga's standout players this season, has been ruled out due to the injury, his club confirmed on Friday. Isco's exceptional performance had seen him being named man of the match in 19 games, leading to high anticipation of his inclusion in the upcoming Euros.

Spain's coach, Luis de la Fuente, had earlier expressed admiration for Isco, hinting at a potential spot for him in the squad for the European championship. In a Teledeporte interview, De La Fuente highlighted Isco's "spectacular season" and his readiness to welcome him back into the national team despite previous setbacks.
But Isco's potential comeback has bitten the dust with the injury setback, which he suffered in Betis' match against Las Palmas.
The club's statement detailed the diagnosis: "After the tests carried out on Isco Alarcón today, it is confirmed that the player has suffered a diaphyseal fracture in his left fibula." The medical team is evaluating the necessity of surgery to address the injury.
This blow comes after Isco recovered from a muscular issue that had him out for two months earlier in the year. His ambition to rejoin the Spain squad after being excluded from the Euro 2020 team and not playing for the national side since June 2019 has now been thwarted.
Isco has been a long-term servant for Spain. Boasting 38 appearances for his country, the former Real Madrid midfielder has been a sporadic character of late yet his recent resurgence with Real Betis had sparked hopes of a triumphant return to international football.
