Group B at Euro 2024 is known as the 'Group of Death'. This mega group consists the likes of teams like Spain, Italy, Croatia, and Albania. While Spain is the clear favorites, there will be a tough battle between Italy and Croatia to make it to the next stage.

Group B Overview

Spain

La Roja is one of the teams tipped to win the tournament. Spain has the perfect blend of youth and experience. Under the guidance of Luis de la Fuente, the team will be looking to overcome all obstacles in their group stage. Heading into the knockouts, the experience of the old horses will surely play a huge role.

Italy

The defending champions are not among the favorites to retain the title again. Since their win in 2020, the team has completely changed. La Nazionale, currently have a new squad with many surprising absences in them. With poor performance in FIFA World Cup 2022, it will be interesting to see how Gli Azzurri manages to change their fortunes now.

Croatia

Be it the World Cup or the European Championships, Croatia has been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament. Luka Modric's side will be a team to reckon with with the likes of some senior players like Ivan Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic. The Croats will be desperately eyeing to take the second spot in the standings.

Albania

In the Group of Death, Albania are the perfect underdogs. While no one expects them to make it to the next stage, but Albania can pose a big threat to the other three teams. A highly motivated and mobile side, can cause major upsets in any given day.

Predictions

We here at MyKhel predict Spain to top Group B. But it will be interesting to see how the remaining of the group shapes out. Italy is most likely to pip Croatia in taking the second spot. On the other hand, unfortunately, Albania is likely to finish bottom last in group B.
