Over the years Belgium’s golden generation has failed to cement its legacy on the biggest stage. But the upcoming Euro 2024 will hand them with an impact to make.
Despite having world-class players such as Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku, they have failed to win a major prize. However, with a favorable group stage draw that includes Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine, this tournament offers an excellent opportunity for redemption.

Belgium will enter Group E as the undisputed favorite. Their experience and firepower are unmatched. Slovakia, while quietly qualifying for three consecutive Euros, lacks consistency and depth compared to the Red Devils. Progression for Slovakia seems unlikely given their current squad quality.
Romania's qualification campaign surprised many where they topped the Euro qualifiers. But their group comprised lower competition - Switzerland, Kosovo, Israel, Belarus, and Andorra. Euro 2024 will be a big challenge compared to that for this inexperienced team. While reaching the knockout stages may be a stretch, they shouldn't be completely written off.
The most exciting team in Group E might just be Ukraine. They possess a potent blend of talent, experience, and unpredictability. Their quarter-final run at Euro 2020 proves their capabilities.
Backed by players like Artem Dovbyk, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Mykhailo Mudryk, who ply their trade in Europe's top leagues, Ukraine have a strong chance of joining Belgium in the next round.
With a mix of experience and hungry youngsters, Belgium seem to be poised for the next round easily. However, both Ukraine and Romania have the potential to cause upsets which makes Group E an exciting spot to watch for.
