Spain secured a famous win over Germany but their celebrations have been marred with the injury of Pedri.
Spain will proceed to the Euro 2024 semi-finals without their key midfielder after he suffered a knee injury following a Toni Kroos challenge.

La Roja clinched their place in the semi-finals of the UEFA European Championship after a thrilling 2-1 extra-time victory over Germany.
The most critical concern for de la Fuente is the absence of Barcelona's playmaker Pedri, who will miss the rest of the tournament due to a knee injury. The Royal Spanish Football Federation confirmed that Pedri sustained a knee sprain following a rough tackle by the veteran midfielder.
Pedri's injury occurred early in the game after a harsh challenge from Kroos, forcing him to leave the field. The RFEF later verified that the 21-year-old had suffered an internal sprain on his left knee, thus ending his participation in the tournament. This injury is a significant blow for Spain as Pedri has been instrumental in their campaign so far. The player was seen heavily strapped on his left knee as a picture of the Spain dressing room got published on social media after the victory over Germany.
The 21-year-old played a decent chunk of minutes in the tournament for La Roja and is an important part of the squad. But the injury is a big blow for Spain, who will also miss coach Luis de La Fuente following his touchline suspension. Right-back Dani Carvajal will also miss the semifinal clash after a late Red Card.
Dani Olmo, who replaced Pedri during the match, made an immediate impact by scoring Spain's opening goal. The RB Leipzig star is now expected to take Pedri's place in the starting lineup for their next game. Olmo's performance will be crucial as Spain aims to continue their successful run in Euro 2024.
The player will undergo more tests soon which will reveal the severity of his injury. But the Spaniard is expected to miss a couple of months of the LaLiga season as well. Pedri, who plays for Barcelona, may come back in action in the early weeks of October or later.
