The UEFA Euro 2024 saw a scintillating Round of 16 matches come to a conclusion on Tuesday (July 2).
The first round of the knockouts is concluded and 8 teams have advanced to the quarter-finals.

Group A saw Germany and Switzerland advancing whereas it was comfortable for Spain in Group B, who were joined by Italy. England, France and Netherlands have also qualified from their respective groups, but Les Bleus were overtaken by Austria who finished top of Group D after a scintillating group stage outing. In Group E, it is Romania who finished at the summit whereas Belgium also progressed to the next stage. Portugal have also advanced as group winners.

In the quarterfinals, it promises to be another mouthwatering battle among the elites of Europe.
Spain will be up against hosts Germany in a blockbuster clash to commence the last eight of the Euro 2024. England, who were lucky to get past the last stage, will lock horns against a buoyant Switzerland side.
Two big powerhouses Portugal and France will take on each other in a repeat of the Euro 2016 final. Cristiano Ronaldo, who announced this to be his last Euros, will be in action. Finally, the Netherlands will be facing Turkey in the other match.
