The UEFA Euro 2024 saw an action-packed group stages come to a conclusion on Wednesday (June 26). And after an intense battle among 24 teams, the final 16 have advanced to the knockouts.
The top two teams of each of the six groups have advanced to the knockouts, along with the four best 3rd-placed teams.

Group A saw Germany and Switzerland advancing whereas it was comfortable for Spain in Group B, who were joined by Italy.
England, France and Netherlands have also qualified from their respective groups, but Les Bleus were overtaken by Austria who finished top of Group D after a scintillating group stage outing.
In Group E, it is Romania who finished at the summit whereas Belgium also progressed to the next stage. Portugal have also advanced as group winners.

As the tournament enters its business stage, a list of mouthwatering fixtures is set to enthral the fans.
In the Round of 16, defending champions Italy are set to play Switzerland in Berlin. Hosts Germany will be playing Denmark at the vibrant BVB Stadion in Dortmund. France, who are one of the favourites to win the tournament, will be up against Belgium while Portugal will be playing against Slovenia.
Georgia created history after qualifying for the knockouts and they will have a daunting task against Spain. Romania are up against Netherlands in Munich while England will lock horns against Slovakia.
