Spain has announced their final squad for the Euro 2024 on Friday (June 7) ahead of the continental competition.
De la Fuente initially named a 29-man squad last month, featuring many young talents as Spain aims to reclaim European success in Germany. Cubarsi started in Spain's friendly win over Andorra, assisting Ayoze Perez, who surprisingly made it to the final squad, for his debut goal.

Pau Cubarsi, Marcos Llorente, and Aleix Garcia have been excluded from Luis de la Fuente's Spain squad for Euro 2024.
Despite a standout season in LaLiga, the 17-year-old Cubarsi is not included as De la Fuente chooses more experienced centre-backs like Robin Le Normand, Nacho, Aymeric Laporte, and Dani Vivian.
Llorente is also omitted, with Barcelona's Fermin Lopez securing his spot after assisting in his first international match on Wednesday. Garcia, another midfielder, is left out despite his impressive run with Girona, where he scored three goals and provided six assists in the 2023-24 LaLiga season.
Spain will kick off their Euro 2024 campaign against Croatia in Group B on June 15, followed by matches against Italy and Albania.
