The Euro 2024 has entered its business phase of the tournament as the Round of 16 started on Saturday (June 29).

After the first four knockout matches, hosts Germany, Switzerland, England and Spain have advanced to the quarterfinals.

In the Round of 16, Switzerland secured a huge victory over Italy in the first match, followed by Germany beating Denmark. Spain secured a 4-1 victory over Georgia, who created history after qualifying for the knockouts.

A lackluster England team was saved by HArry Kane and Jude Bellingham as the Three Lions won 2-1 over Slovakia at extra time to progress to the last of the tournament.
