Italy begin their Euro 2024 journey against Albania on Saturday night. The reigning champions are in the group of death and the start to their campaign could have started with a much tougher match.

They will still not be taking this match lightly as even a single point could become the difference between second and third place in this group. Some players from both teams who could be key are -

Gianluigi Donnarumma has had a mixed season this past year. He started in 42 games for PSG last season. He was a crucial part of the team for the most part of the season. He appeared in 54 matches for the Italian club throughout all competitions last season. He helped Atlanta secure a spot in the Champions League next season by finishing forth in Serie A. He also won Europa League last season with Atalanta.
