Everton have officially announced the acquisition of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Chelsea. The midfielder has agreed to a five-year deal, with an initial fee of £25 million that could increase to £29 million with add-ons. Dewsbury-Hall, 26, made 36 appearances for Chelsea last season after joining from Leicester City under Enzo Maresca.
Dewsbury-Hall's contributions were significant in Chelsea's Conference League triumph. He was involved in six goals, scoring four and assisting two, a tally surpassed only by Enzo Fernandez and Christopher Nkunku. His performance at the Club World Cup included a brief appearance in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.

The transfer marks Everton's fifth signing this summer, following Carlos Alcaraz, Thierno Barry, Mark Travers, and Adam Aznou. "I'm so excited to get started," Dewsbury-Hall expressed on Everton's website. "There's a real buzz about this move. It feels right for me and gives me motivation to succeed here."
Everton manager David Moyes has been vocal about his desire to strengthen the squad further before the new season begins. The club is reportedly pursuing additional signings to enhance their team depth and competitiveness.
In addition to Dewsbury-Hall's signing, Everton have shown interest in Southampton's Tyler Dibling. However, their bid of £40 million was rejected as Southampton seeks £45 million plus add-ons. Talks are also underway for a potential loan move involving Manchester City's Jack Grealish.
Dewsbury-Hall expressed enthusiasm about joining one of England's prominent clubs. "Everton is one of the biggest clubs in the country," he said. "The future looks bright here, and it was an easy decision to join." His arrival is expected to bring added strength and creativity to Everton's midfield.
