When asked for further clarification on their current situation, Amorim admitted that the timeline for some players remains uncertain. Amad Diallo is expected to be out for a long period, while Mason Mount and Luke Shaw continue their recovery processes without a confirmed return date. Meanwhile, Kobbie Mainoo's recovery is still unclear, requiring United to adapt to the demanding schedule.

The goalkeeping department is also affected, with both Altay Bayindir and Tom Heaton unavailable for selection against Everton. Amorim stated that both players are progressing in their recovery but did not provide a return date for either goalkeeper.

With key players returning and others still sidelined, United will need to make tactical adjustments as they prepare for their upcoming fixture. Although Yoro and Eriksen are available, the duo may be sidelined on the bench for the clash. Casemiro has started for the Red Devils while Alejandro Garnacho is on the bench.
