London, Mar 14: The FA Cup semi-final draw took place today, March 14, immediately after Chelsea defeated Manchester United in the quarter-final.

The Blues were drawn against London rivals Tottenham Hotspur, while Arsenal will lock horns against Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.

The official twitter handle of FA tweeted:

The first semi-final featuring Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will be played on April 22 (Saturday) and the second featuring City and Arsenal will be held on April 23 (Sunday).

Arsenal who defeated Lincoln City in the quarter-final by 5-0 will be eyeing a record 13th FA Cup title this time surpassing Manchester United.

They are currently tied on 12 titles along with Red Devils who equalled them by winning it last season.

Arsenal are the most successful team in this tournament in recent history as they won it back to back in 2014 and 2015.

For Manchester City, Pep Guardiola's realistic chance of winning a title in his maiden season lies in the FA Cup. They will go all guns blazing against the Gunners in the semi-final.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will be eyeing a domestic double. They are on the verge of winning the English Premier League title and the FA Cup title will just be an icing on the cake for Antonio Conte.
