A brand new season of the English Premier League is about to begin and the 2024-25 Fantasy Premier League season is here. Price tags of the players are already revealed and football fans around the corner are ready to test their knowledge of the competition.
The new season of EPL will be kicking off on August 17 (IST 12:30 am) and the squads have to be selected before the deadline for the start of the first match.

For the first-time FPL players, FPL players need to select 15 players (two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forwards). Players will cost anywhere between £4-15 million and there will be a total budget of £100 million.
Users can draw only three players from a single team. Once the squad is ready then a starting XI must be picked along with selecting a captain and vice-captain before the start of each matchweek. Points will be scored according to the different actions (goals, assists, saves, assists etc.) by the selected players during the matches.
Just like last season, this season also the Manchester City forward Erling Haaland became the most expensive player with a price tag of £15m and with this price tag he became the most expensive FPL player of all all-time. Last season the 24-year-old Norwegian striker gathered 217 FPL points which was the fifth highest by any player.
Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is second on the list with a price tag of £12.5m, the same as the previous season. Last season the Egyptian amassed 211 FPL points and placed 7th on the list.
The third position has been occupied by the Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer with a £10.5m price tag. Last season he started with just a £5m price tag but his stellar performances throughout the season helped him to score 244 FPL points, the highest among all the players.
Next on the list are two players from two rival sides, Arsenal's Bukayo Saka and Tottenham Hotspur's Heung-min Son, both having a price tag of £10m. The former scored 226 points, the fourth most by any player while the latter one gathered 213 points.
Next on the line are Man City midfielder duo Phil Foden and Kevin de Bruyne with a £9.5m price tag. Foden became the Player of the Season in the 2023-24 season scored 230 FPL points and placed only behind his former teammate Cole Plamer.
Ollie Watkins with 226 FPL points finished third on the list and as a reward has been handed a price tag of £9m, the eighth most expensive player. The next two positions are for Arsenal's Martin Odegaard and Man United's Bruno Fernandes who both are priced at £8.5m each.
