The Gaurs clinched their second consecutive win with goals from Lalthangliana and Sitroy Carvalho, despite Tribhuvan Army's strong second-half response. For their second game against Rangdajied United, Jose Hevia made one change, starting goalkeeper Neithovilie Chalieu in place of Manas Dubey. Shillong Lajong took the lead midway through the first half and doubled their advantage early in the second half after starting strongly.
