Milan Skriniar has officially joined Fenerbahce on a four-year contract. The Slovakian defender, previously with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has moved from France to Turkey after spending two years with the French club. His return to Istanbul follows a loan spell with Jose Mourinho's team, which finished second in the Super Lig last season.
Upon returning to PSG, Skriniar was relegated to training with the youth squad, indicating he was no longer needed after their significant Champions League triumph. This move marks his second stint in Istanbul, where he aims to make a strong impact in Turkish football.

Skriniar's transfer coincides with Nelson Semedo's arrival at Fenerbahce. Both players are set to strengthen the team's defence and could debut against Alanyaspor on August 9. Their inclusion is expected to bolster Fenerbahce's squad as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
The Slovakian international initially joined PSG on a free transfer after his contract with Inter Milan ended. However, reports indicate that manager Luis Enrique did not approve of his signing since it occurred before Enrique took over at Parc des Princes.
During his tenure at PSG, Skriniar made 37 appearances across all competitions. In his first season, he contributed to the team's success by securing both the Ligue 1 title and the Coupe de France. Despite these achievements, his future at PSG became uncertain under new management.
Skriniar's move to Fenerbahce offers him a fresh start and an opportunity to showcase his skills in Turkey's top league. As he embarks on this new chapter alongside Semedo, both players are eager to make their mark and help Fenerbahce achieve their goals this season.
