Gangtok, Aug 29: FIFA representative David Bojra today (Aug 29) inspected the Football House and Guards Ground here in the Sikkim capital, the two projects developed here on FIFA funding.

During inspection, he was accompanied by Asian Football Confederation (AFC) representative C Parera and All India Football Federation representative Col Mehta.

The team was taken around by the executive members of the Sikkim Football Association. SFA general secretary Menla Ethenpa said that the officials were in the state to evaluate Football House and Guards Ground.

He said that the officials have expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and now FIFA will hand over these infrastructure to the SFA for its proper use.

Ethenpa said that the officials have also assured to support the development of the football in the state in the future as well. The officials also called on the state Sports Minister N K Pradhan.
