Most recently the same issue caught the headlines when Brazil and PSG superstar Neymar penned a lengthy note asking for his partner's forgiveness amid her pregnancy events.

The 31-year-old in an Instagram message acknowledged his cheating and asked for forgiveness from his partner Bruna Biancardi.

While unsure whether the relationship will work, Neymar who is expecting a baby boy with his fiancee suggested making things better from now on. It was one of the most popular alleged affairs that rocked English football. The Chelsea legend was accused of cheating on his team-mate Wayne Bridge's girlfriend in 2011. His alleged cheating with Vanessa Perroncel even saw him getting stripped of England's captainship. However, his wife Toni Poole whom he married in 2007 preferred to stick with the defender.

Wayne Rooney wife Coolen Rooney

The Manchester United and England legend was accused of a series of extra-marital affairs which also involves sleeping with an older prostitute at the peak of his Manchester United career. However, his wife Coolen has chosen to overlook those matters and instead has been together with four kids with Wayne Rooney.

Olivier Giroud wife Jennifer Giroud

In an act of nonsense, the World Cup winner invited a model, Celia Kay in his hotel room privately before a Premier League game while playing for Arsenal in 2014.
