Five teams to manage in Spain in Football Manager 2024

Spanish La Liga has competed admirably with the Premier League for the tag of the best league in the world but the La Liga's popularing has been on the wane in the last few years.

However, starting a save in Spain is still an interesting option in Football Manager 2024. Here, we will take a look at five clubs to start with in Spain in the game.

FM 4 600

Barcelona

Barcelona are one of the biggest clubs in world football and will surely be an interesting option to start with in FM24. They won the La Liga last season despite their financial troubles but can you build on that in the game? With the club's difficult financial condition, it won't be easy to steady the ship but you will have some of the best wonderkids in the game to help you out.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid had a trophyless last season which is unwarranted for a club of their stature. The squad have plenty of quality particularly in midfield but the attack and the defence do not look up to the mark. There is a lot of work to be done if you pick Real Madrid as your club but there won't be much financial restrictions. This might seem like an easy job but nothing is easy in FM.

Valencia

Valencia once used to be the third biggest force in Spani9sh football after Barcelona and Ral Madrid but have been struggling for a long time now. Los Ches have an incredible youth academy, a solid fanbase and a beautiful stadium which means they have all the ingredients you need to turn the club into an European giant.

Girona

Girona have been the surprise team in Europe this season and for good reasons. They have been leading the La Liga table for a while now and only dropped to second of late that too on goal difference. Part of the City football group, they have the financial muscle to compete at the top level and have a very solid and young core of squad.

Malaga

Unlike the four teams discussed here, Malaga do not compete in La Liga. In fact, they are not even in the second division. Just a decade ago, they were Champions League semi finalists but have gone downhill over the last few years. It will quite an interesting save to make them leap up from the third tier to the first tier and that too without much financial backing.
