Thomas Frank has expressed his view that Chelsea might currently be the strongest team in the Premier League. As Brentford prepares for their match at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Chelsea is enjoying a six-game winning streak across all competitions. They remain unbeaten in seven league matches since their 2-1 defeat to Liverpool in mid-October.
Chelsea's recent form is impressive, with victories in their last four Premier League games. Notably, they have scored three or more goals in each of their last three matches. Enzo Maresca's team is second in the standings, trailing Liverpool by four points, although they have played one more game than the leaders.

Currently, Chelsea leads the Premier League in scoring with 35 goals, surpassing Brentford by four goals. Frank remarked, "They are maybe even more in-form than Liverpool, even though they are top of the league." He praised Chelsea's style of play and coaching under Maresca, noting their formidable presence on the field.
Brentford boasts an impressive home record this season, having dropped only two points at the Gtech Community Stadium. However, their away performance has been less successful. In away matches within the top-flight league, Brentford has managed to secure just one point from a possible 21, achieved through a goalless draw against Everton.
Despite their struggles on the road this season, Brentford has historically performed well against Chelsea away from home. They have won all three of their previous Premier League away games against Chelsea. The last team to achieve four consecutive top-flight away victories against Chelsea was Leeds United, who won six times between 1973 and 1991.
Frank acknowledged Chelsea's attacking prowess and quality players throughout their squad. He stated, "They have so many threats going forward and have top-quality players all over the pitch." Despite acknowledging Chelsea as strong favourites for Sunday's match, Frank remains optimistic about his team's chances.
"I expect an unbelievably difficult game," he added. "They are massive favourites but, of course, we believe that we can compete against anyone, and we believe we can win."
