Lionel Messi and Antonela Roccuzzo are set to shift to Miami once their holidays are over where the Argentine superstar is set to start a new chapter. The World Cup winner is now preparing for life in the United States as he searches for a new home after leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of his contract to join Inter Miami.

He will earn around £47million-per-year in the new club, having reportedly turned down bigger offers from elsewhere.

Messi is now set to shift his base to the new city and is apparently house hunting. It is understood that despite acquiring four properties close to £15m in the Magic City, he is looking for another place to live.

As per reports, Messi and Antonela have selected the Porche Tower as their new home. And if they manage to do so, they could have a few notable celebrities as their neighbours.

NBA legend LeBron James has a house in the same tower while other notable celebrities like Will Smith, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony etc also lives nearby. Former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique's ex-girlfriend and Pop sensation Shakira too reportedly has moved into Miami and could cross paths with them.

All in all, Miami is a place with a lot of show business and there's no doubt Messi and his family will always be surrounded by them.

When can Lionel Messi make his Inter Miami debut?

Messi could mark his Inter Miami debut on July 21 against Cruz Azul at the DRV PNK Stadium. The tie will come in the group stage of the Leagues Cup which features teams from MLS and Liga MX. It will be the opening game of the inaugural League Cup. Messi is currently on vacation with his wife, Antonela Roccuzzo, and their three sons in the Bahamas.
