Fulham Move: Raul Jimenez Set To Leave As Harry Wilson Receives New Contract Offer
Fulham are preparing for major changes after confirming Raul Jimenez will depart on a free transfer, offering Harry Wilson a new deal and already losing Marco Silva. Contract decisions and the search for a new head coach are shaping an important summer at Craven Cottage.
Jimenez will exit when his contract ends after joining Fulham from Wolves in 2023 as Aleksandar Mitrovic’s replacement following the move to Al-Hilal. The 35-year-old is currently with Mexico preparing for the World Cup, adding another focus during this transition period.

Across all competitions for Fulham, no teammate has scored more than Jimenez since his debut, with 31 goals in 115 games. Jimenez produced his strongest league campaign in 2024-25, striking 12 Premier League goals and adding three assists as Silva’s side secured 11th place.
Jimenez recorded 12 goal involvements last season, with nine goals and three assists, yet Wilson finished ahead on 17. Wilson’s 17 league goal contributions marked the highest single Premier League total by a Fulham player since Dimitar Berbatov delivered 18 during the 2012-13 season.
{TABLE_1}Wilson’s contract is due to expire on June 30, and several clubs have been linked with the Wales international. Liverpool, Aston Villa, Leeds United and Newcastle United are all reported admirers. Wilson has spoken cautiously about his plans, stressing in April that discussions about any extension would wait until the season finished.
Alongside the situations for Jimenez and Wilson, Fulham must also recruit a new head coach after Silva left at the end of the last campaign. Silva’s Premier League win rate of 38.2% stands as the best achieved by any Fulham manager in the competition.
Reports in Portugal indicate Silva is close to returning home with Benfica. That possibility increased after Florentino Perez was re-elected Real Madrid president and confirmed current Benfica coach Jose Mourinho will return to the Spanish capital, likely opening the job for Silva.
With Jimenez confirmed to be leaving, Wilson considering an offer amid strong interest and Silva moving towards Benfica, Fulham face a crucial off-season. Decisions on attacking options and leadership from the dugout will determine how the squad develops for upcoming domestic and international challenges.
