Madrid, August 3: Real Madrid suffer an injury scare ahead of their highly anticipated match against Manchester United as their star attacker Gareth Bale limped out of training with an apparent knock in the pre-season.
Zinedine Zidane's side were preparing for a match against an MLS All-Stars XI in Chicago on Wednesday (August 2) however during the primary stage of the training the Welshman looked in some distress and left the field eventually while indicating a problem in his ankle.

But Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane later claimed that he is not stressed over Gareth Bale's fitness after the knock and told the press that he is okay.
Bale's Madrid career has been plagued by injuries in the last year and it is believed that President Florentino Perez is not happy with the former Spur's attacker's performance and the measure of time he's spent on the treatment table.
Some reports from Spain recently also suggested that Welsh attacker is frustrated with his lack of chances in the starting XI as youngsters like Isco and Asensio are playing ahead of him and he is poised to make a move to Manchester United. It was understood that the 28-year-old demanded that he wants guaranteed first team football.
However, the French manager Zidane has now rubbished all the talks and insisted he is happy with Bale's progress and performance.
"He looks good to me, little by little," he told a news conference ahead of Madrid's clash with an MLS All-Star team on Wednesday. He's had a long injury."
"The pre-season has been very good since the beginning. I'm not worried about his performance, because the whole team has had good moments and not as good moments."
Real will start their campaign against United in 8th August in Skopje in UEFA Super Cup and later will face a two-legged Spanish Super Cup tie against Copa del Rey winners Barcelona.
The reigning La Liga winners will start their title defence away against Deportivo La Coruna at the Estadio Riazor on Sunday 20 August in the La Liga opener.
