Cristiano Ronaldo nearing retirement? Girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez divulges details

Georgina Rodriguez made numerous heads turn at the Paris Fashion Week this Friday. She wore a dress inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo's Manchester United jersey. She walked the ramp and paid homage to the player in the process.

She then took over the internet another time when she was seen hinting at Ronaldo's retirement plans. Georgina was seen talking to someone in the fashion show where she said Ronaldo would only play for one or two more years.

In a video that has been shared multiple times in social media, Georgina Rodriguez was seen saying in a video, “Cristiano one more year, then it's over. Maybe two, I don't know.” Her words imply that Ronaldo could also retire after the 2026 World Cup.

Cristiano Ronaldo will be leading his Portugal team to the 2024 Euro competition. He will look to win the tournament for the second time after winning it back in 2016. His World Cup journey in 2022 was a disappointing one.

He could be determined to give it another try to win the golden trophy in 2026. Cristiano Ronaldo is already 39 years old and by the time of the next World Cup, he will be 41 years of age. It will not be easy for him to run a successful campaign.

However, Ronaldo is still one of the best players in the world at his age. He has been doing some great work at Al Nassr. His rivalry with Lionel Messi is legendary and has driven both players to become their best versions in the last two decades.

Lionel Messi touched his career's biggest achievement as he won his third international trophy and first World Cup in 2022. Ronaldo could be motivated to get his hands on the trophy and could choose not to retire before the next World Cup in 2026.
