In another exclusive interview with Givson Singh expressed his feelings for the club, "I have some amazing teammates at Odisha FC. They help me a lot. I've scored two goals and I want to score many more and assist too. I'll try to score in the last [Durand Cup group stage] match as well and I also want to play well in ISL for the club."

He also talked about his dreams of playing for the national team one day, saying, "This is just the beginning. I want to do better with the club and then want to play for the national team. I'll keep working hard till I reach my goal."
