'Gladiator' Ronaldo to get 900K pounds for three hours' work

London, May 9 (ANI): Portuguese and Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo will be paid a staggering #900,000 for three hours' work in a bid to prove he's the world's greatest player.

Ronaldo is the latest to sign up for A:3K Football, a 10-million-pound gladiator-style test of skill at the 02 Arena on July 17.

Less than a week after the World Cup Final, Ronaldo will battle it out with Steven Gerrard, Didier Drogba, Cesc Fabregas and David Villa in a series of challenges, News of The World reports.

They include A: 3K Attack which sees the players locked in a perspex cage with six goals and two balls, trying to score as many times as possible.

The event is to be played in front of 15,000 fans with ITV showing highlights. (ANI)
