Oliver Glasner has expressed frustration over Crystal Palace's limited transfer activity, accusing the club of not fulfilling their promise to finalise deals earlier in the window. Last season, Glasner led Palace to their first major trophy by winning the FA Cup, defeating Manchester City 1-0 with Eberechi Eze scoring and Dean Henderson saving a penalty.
The Eagles are set to participate in European competitions for the first time, pending an appeal against their Europa League expulsion due to multi-club ownership rule breaches. So far, Palace have signed Croatia's Borna Sosa from Ajax for £2.3 million and free agent goalkeeper Walter Benitez. However, Joel Ward and Jeffrey Schlupp have left, while Matt Turner and Ben Chilwell returned to their parent clubs.

Glasner is worried about potential further departures, especially with Eze linked to Arsenal. The England international reportedly has a £67.5 million release clause. Glasner told Kronen Zeitung that despite retaining all players so far, they haven't capitalised on the transfer window as expected.
Palace are reportedly interested in Nice forward Evann Guessand and young winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is attracting attention from various clubs. Glasner emphasised his concern about having only 17 outfield players currently and fears another poor start if they lose more players without securing new signings before the deadline.
The previous season saw Palace struggle initially, failing to win any of their first eight Premier League games until they defeated Tottenham on October 27. This victory sparked a positive run with only two losses in 14 matches. Despite equalling their worst top-flight start by earning just three points from eight games, they managed to finish 12th in the league.
Glasner remains hopeful that the club will avoid repeating last year's scenario where four new signings arrived on deadline day, leading to a challenging start. He stressed the importance of strengthening the squad early to prevent another false start.
