Glasner Voices Concerns About Trevoh Chalobah's Future Amid Chelsea Recall Speculation

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has acknowledged the possibility of Trevoh Chalobah being recalled by Chelsea in January. Chalobah joined Palace on a season-long loan in August, seeking regular playtime amid Chelsea's squad changes. The 25-year-old has impressed with 12 Premier League appearances after recovering from an abdominal injury. Chelsea recently recalled Aaron Anselmino from Boca Juniors, raising concerns about Chalobah's future at Palace.

Glasner expressed uncertainty about Chalobah's situation, stating, "It's a tricky situation. I always want to be honest. Chelsea has the possibility to call him back from loan. There's a little bit of uncertainty at the moment: will they do it, when will they do it? We need clarity, he needs clarity." He added that both he and Chalobah wish for him to remain at Palace.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, Leicester City's manager, discussed his transfer strategy for the current window as the club aims to strengthen its squad. Leicester is currently 19th in the Premier League and hasn't won in six matches since Van Nistelrooy's debut victory against West Ham.
