Oliver Glasner commended Crystal Palace's resilience after they secured a 0-0 draw against Bournemouth, who are aiming for European qualification. Despite being reduced to 10 players when Chris Richards received a second yellow card in the first half, Palace managed to hold on. Richards was initially booked for fouling Dango Ouattara before pulling Justin Kluivert's shirt. The Eagles had conceded 10 goals in their previous two matches but limited Bournemouth to just 0.72 expected goals.
Glasner expressed satisfaction with his team's performance, especially given their recent defensive struggles. He told BBC Sport: "I was absolutely pleased with this point especially the way the game was going and conceding 10 goals in the previous two games. To have to play for 50 minutes with one player less, it's a great clean sheet."

This season, only Arsenal has received more red cards than Palace in the Premier League, with five compared to Palace's four. This equals Palace's record for most red cards in a single campaign, matching their tally from the 2014-15 season. In their last four top-flight matches alone, they have seen three dismissals, equalling their total from the previous 80 games.
Glasner criticised the decision to send off Richards and argued that Bournemouth's Alex Scott should have faced similar consequences for his foul while already on a yellow card. Glasner stated: "For me, it's how you lead the game and consistency. It's either two red cards - one for Chris Richards and one for Alex Scott. Or it's no red cards at all. When you don't show a second yellow for Scott, you don't show a second yellow for Richards."
Andoni Iraola expressed disappointment over Bournemouth's inability to capitalise on their numerical advantage. He remarked that while a draw wouldn't have been bad before the match, failing to score against 10 men for over 45 minutes was frustrating. "We didn't have the creativity and you have to be super creative or shoot from very far," Iraola said.
Bournemouth has achieved a club-record of 49 points in this Premier League season. However, Iraola urged his players to focus on finishing strong as they still have five games left to secure more points. "It feels like a missed opportunity but we're still in the hunt for Europe," he added.
