Ryan Gravenberch has agreed a new long-term contract with Liverpool, confirming the midfielder’s future at Anfield. The club has not disclosed the exact length, though reports state a six-year extension running until the end of the 2031-32 season.
Speaking after signing, Gravenberch explained the decision and personal meaning behind the deal, stressing pride in staying at Liverpool. The midfielder described strong belief from the club and manager, and outlined clear ambitions for trophies over the coming years.

The Netherlands international arrived from Bayern Munich in September 2023 and has since become a central figure. Gravenberch has made 123 appearances in all competitions under Arne Slot. This season, Gravenberch has scored four goals and provided three assists, while also leading Liverpool for tackles with 45 and interceptions with 37.
I feel really, really good, Gravenberch told Liverpool's website. I was really proud to extend my contract at such a big club. So, I'm really happy that I can stay for many more years. I felt directly the trust from the club, also from the manager. The decision for me was easy to make. I'm happy that I'm here. For the short term, [my aim is to] end the season as good as possible. And for the long term: win many more trophies with Liverpool. I'm really grateful for the supporters because without them, we would not be where we are now. In the future, we want to give them many more [trophies], so hopefully, we can get that done.
Since joining Liverpool, Gravenberch has already collected major honours, lifting both the Premier League title and the EFL Cup. This season, Liverpool remain active on multiple fronts, having reached the FA Cup quarter-finals and the last 16 of the Champions League.
The extension secures another key part of Liverpool’s midfield structure during a demanding cycle of domestic and European fixtures. With Gravenberch tied to Liverpool until at least 2032, the club retains a player contributing heavily in possession, pressing and defensive numbers, while also targeting more silverware.
