GSTC defeats ER in a match of 24th National BSC football

Bokaro, Dec 1 (UNI) Kolkata's George Telegraph Sports Club (GTSC) today defeated Eastern Railway's (ER) team of the same city on the third day of 24th National Bokaro Steel Cup (BSC) football here.

The ER's team lost the match with three goals.

The GTSC team made six goals against the ER, which failed to make any goal against its opponent.

Altogether 16 teams were participating in the tournament.

Around eight national and international referees had been appointed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to conduct the tournament.

The Bokaro Steel Plant would spend about Rs 20 lakh for the event and the final match would be played on December 9.
