Erling Haaland Extends Contract With Manchester City Until 2034 After Scoring 111 Goals

Erling Haaland has committed his future to Manchester City by signing a new contract lasting nine and a half years. Since joining from Borussia Dortmund in 2022, Haaland has netted 111 goals across all competitions. His contributions have been pivotal in City's triumphs, including two Premier League titles, the Champions League, and the FA Cup.

Haaland's impressive goal-scoring record continues this season with 21 goals in 28 matches. The club has secured his services until 2034. The Norwegian striker has been prolific since joining City, scoring more than any other player in Europe's top five leagues during this period. Kylian Mbappe follows with 101 goals, while Harry Kane has scored 98. Haaland's tally includes 79 Premier League goals, 23 in the Champions League, and eight in the FA Cup.

Haaland's goal-scoring prowess is evident as he averages a goal every 93 minutes and has achieved 11 hat-tricks for City. His versatility is showcased by scoring 78 goals with his left foot, 17 with his right, and 15 with his head.

In November 2023, Haaland became the fastest player to reach 50 Premier League goals, achieving this feat in just 48 games. Earlier this season, he celebrated scoring his 100th goal for City in only his 105th appearance.
